Design Features

Allow users to form a Circle of Trust with your friends (phone contacts, social media, etc.)

Allow users to share your location and planned route with them

Gives users the reassurance that their network will be notified about their whereabouts 

Positive Findings 

• Known circle of close friends
• Looking out for each other
• Messaging/chat functionality

Negative Findings 

• False alarms increasing paranoia
• Perceived more as a source of taking care of others’ safety vs user’s own safety
• Lack of screens showing SOS scenario
